Little Red Mitten

From beginners to experienced fibre enthusiasts, there is something for you at the Little Red Mitten. They are located in the old west end of Talbot Street, in a designated historical building, which was built in 1842 following St. Thomas’ first disastrous fire in September 1841. This historical building was home to some of the city's earliest settlers.
As one of Ontario's largest yarn shops, they are proud to offer a carefully curated selection of fine yarn and fibre, notions, tools and equipment. Their expert teachers can help you learn to knit, weave, crochet, spin or dabble in other interesting fibre arts, while you pick up plenty of tips and ideas to help with future projects. Their goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment while promoting the fibre arts. The Little Red Mitten is open 7 days a week.
