The Salvation Army in Canada ownsand operates all Salvation Army Thrift Stores and has done so for more than 100 years. Their Salvation Army Thrift Store is 100 per cent charity-based and exists to generate funds to support Salvation Army programs and services that help residents in this area. Donated clothing and other goods are efficiently and ethically recycled and sold to offer practical assistance for children and families, often tending to the basic necessities of life.
