Businesses and organizations that are Chamber Members have access to a growing number of discount and benefit programs. In many cases, Chamber benefits extend to all employees and members of their immediate families. We provide information and develop marketing programs that encourage individuals, groups or businesses to consider residential and commercial investment in our communities. Maps, brochures, labour/market data, community profiles, directories, and other documents to assist anyone considering moving or investing in our area.
Promoting the contributions and importance of the business sector to our economy. Making the views of business known to governments, legislators, the media and the public. Encouraging plans and policies that will enhance the positive growth of business in our communities.
Community Information Services
We maintain the most comprehensive inventory of business and community information in our region. Our on-line business directory profiles all businesses and organizations that are registered Members of the Chamber. We process more than 2,000 inquiries every month through on-line directory searches and calls/visits to our office. In 2015, our on-line Business Directory (see link on our home page) was used by over 70,000 people who made over 250,000 searches of our data on local businesses, services and organizations. The Chamber has a strong presence in social media with over 1,500 people connected to us through Facebook & Twitter. We produce a weekly e-mail newsletter called Green Mail. It enjoys weekly readership that averages 2,000 people and is focused to the local business community.
The Consumer-to-Business Link
We provide referrals and recommended sources for products and services to customers on behalf of our Member businesses. This can be particularly helpful to a new business whose identity has yet to be clearly established in the community. We also provide mediation services for customers seeking satisfaction from Member businesses and organizations.

Keeping our Members informed and aware of changes affecting the welfare of their business. Everything from government legislation to demographic trends; from marketing to new business opportunities.
The opportunity for building connections with associates, clients, and business neighbours is provided by annual events such as our popular, monthly “Business After 5″ events; our annual Members Golf Day, Free Enterprise Awards, the State of the Municipalities Luncheon with our area Mayors, and annual events with our Elgin-Middlesex-London Member of Parliament (MP) and our Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP). We host and organize display and trade-show events locally and on a regional basis in collaboration with other Chambers of Commerce in our region.
