    · The STEAM Education Centre is offering free refurbished desktop computers from our re//BUILD.IT program to students in need of a home computer. As well, STEAM has been donating 3D printer filament to the makers printing PPE support devices as part of the #SewStrong campaign.

    · The Family YMCA of St. Thomas-Elgin wants our local business community to know about its Virtual YMCA, an excellent resource full of fitness and health resources, ranging from adult fitness videos to children’s gym class videos, song and crafts.

    · The St. Thomas & District Chamber of CommercemyFM94.1, and Game Over Baby are selling #SewStrong t-shirts for $25 (taxes included). These are available in sizes S-XXL. $10 from each t-shirt will help support community created comfort PPE items. Place your order by clicking here by May 3rd.

    · The Chamber continues to partner with SBEC and EBRC to provide a snapshot of available financial and planning resources and how to access them. This is updated on a daily basis as new information becomes available. Visit the Small Business Enterprise Centre to learn more.

    · In an effort to monitor the progression of COVID-19 on local businesses, Elgin County Economic Development in partnership with: Western Ontario Wardens' Caucus, Elgin Business Resource Centre, Elgin/St. Thomas Small Business Enterprise Centre, St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce, Port Stanley BIA, and the Aylmer Chamber of Commerce, are seeking your assistance in providing high level reporting so that we can advocate on your behalf with all levels of government.
