    AODA - An Update on Employer Obligations

    With the fast-approaching December 31 deadline for employers to meet reporting and compliance obligations under the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act), the St. Thomas & District Chamber hosted a complimentary breakfast meeting on November 16 featuring a presentation by Louie DiPalma, Director of SME Programs with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. 
    The AODA legislation has special significance to all employers with 20 or more employees since they must confirm compliance by submitting a report by December 31 this year.
